THERE IS MORE TO DO FOR YOU IN RALEIGH IN 2021/22

Dear Friends,

My focus over the past eight years has been two-fold - - improving both Health Care and Education.  I will return to Raleigh with this same focus.

With my previous experience in the Health Care industry, I have been a leader in reforming Medicaid to improve and provide a better system of care while ameliorating cost control. My efforts have been recognized nationally as I recently received the North Carolina Legislator of the Year Award by the National Mental Health Association.

My family includes educators at all levels of the education spectrum and that my 18 years of service as Chairman of the WS/FC Board of Education was recognized both locally and at the State level. My commitment to providing a quality education for all students has never wavered.  I am, have been, and will remain a champion for education as I continue to fight for Educational Improvements in North Carolina.
