Thank you for your support and re-electing me to the General Assembly. I will return in 2015 with an even stronger leadership role in Raleigh. My 40 years experience in one of the States' largest healthcare systems and 18 years chairing the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School Board allow me a unique opportunity to be a trusted voice in our State on both heaIth care and educational issues. Following are two areas I am concentrating on:
In the recent Short Session I was named one of the Chairs of Health and Human Services and became the only Freshman Legislator to be name to the Budget Negotiating team. This is in addition to being named by the Governor to the State's Health Planning Committee. My other Committees included: Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Job Development, Regulatory Reform, Banking and State Personnel.
It is a huge responsibility to vote on issues that will determine the future of our great State and to represent the people of Forsyth County. I am grateful for the support I have received over the past year and excited about making a difference in the direction of North Carolina
As we move into discussion of complicated issues, I hope to hear from you. The best way to contact me is through email, Donny.Lambeth@ncleg.net
