In the recent Short Session I was named one of the Chairs of Health and Human Services and became the only Freshman Legislator to be name to the Budget Negotiating team. This is in addition to being named by the Governor to the State's Health Planning Committee. My other Committees included: Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Job Development, Regulatory Reform, Banking and State Personnel.
It is a huge responsibility to vote on issues that will determine the future of our great State and to represent the people of Forsyth County. I am grateful for the support I have received over the past year and excited about making a difference in the direction of North Carolina

Having only been in the House of Representatives since January 2013, following are some of Donny Lambeth's key achievements:
I am already planning a busy agenda and look to achieve a lot if I am elected to another term. YES, I have momentum after two very busy years but I do need your support and vote. Here is some of what I have planned if I get back in office:
- Medicaid Reform -
- The other bill clarifies the process by which the Winston-Salem / Forsyth County School Board fills an unexpired term of a member. In North Carolina, the majority of Boards of Education have the responsibility to fill vacancies.

Donny C. Lambeth takes the Oath of Office for District 75 of the North Carolina House on January 3, 2013. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Paul Newby at the Old Salem Visitors Center in Winston-Salem. To view the ceremony click here.
